Is anyone using the nokia 9500 with jabra bt800 headset?

if so, could you comment on whether the bt800 vibrate mode works with the 9500?

this would be a great feature (if it works) to overcome the lack of vibrate mode on the 9500.

thanks for any advise.

I haven't received the BT800 yet (expansys says that they'll be shipping beginning of March), but I have been intrigued by Nokia's own HS 13-W, the picture bluetooth headset. True, the picture part looks really out of place in conjunction w/ the 9500 or the 9300, but this headset promises something that the communicators lack: voice dialing, plus the ability to view the entire contact book on the headset once the headset and phone are synchronized.

I'm wondering whether anyone has actually seen this headset, because pictures of it in the net don't show how the single earbud is connected to the main body of the headset (i.e. the picture frame) - at least I'm assuming that they connect somewhere.

I'll post something as soon as I get my hands on the BT800, but something tells me that it won't be the best headset solution I'm looking for. I would like a headset that enables me to use my contact book w/o the phone; from what I've read online, although the BT800 handles last call made and keeps track of the last few phone calls received, it doesn't seem to be able to see the whole phonebook.

I have recently purchased a BT800. I have not used many other bluetooth headsets, but this one seems to work the charm. It is comfortable and the noise processor works pretty well.

I can always hear what other people are saying on the other end of the line even with a lot of wind noise.

The 800 doesn't have the ability to tap into the call out list but the recieved calls list. I personally have found this pretty useful from time to time.

In the package they include a USB charger cable. One of the x-tras I had no knowledge of.

It also has the ability to choose its five own distinctive rings as well as the phones own ring-tone.

The vibrate mode works pretty well, pretty funny feeling in the ear though, another option you can opt to have off or on.

So far the headset does everything I was told it would do!

P.S.
The only gripe I have is I can't figure out how to have picture dialling on my 9500, any ideas ?

Dylan.

I wanted to buy the Jabra 800 but as soon as i saw the size i gave up my thoughts... I was using the BT200 for 2 years.. i just changed to Blue Eye AX its very comfertable and very light...

I use to get tired of using BT200 but Blue Eye AX is cool and the battry life is as good as BT 200/250 but i heard the battry life for BT800 is not so good...

however the Head set do solves the Vibrator issue as it rings in your ear....
