Low Memory

Hi guys

I am getting a low memory warning on my 6600. I have installed some apps on the phone and storage card. I think this has caused my mobile to lose memory for other apps. I get this warning whenever I receive an sms. What can I do? Should I uninstall some apps from the phone and install them on the card? Will this free up phone memory? Or will I have to upgrade my card?

Thanks.

Hi, yes install every app on ur card the 6600 doesnt have a particularly large internal memory so i always leave the phone mem jus 4 txt emails etc. also make sure u delete all sent msg etc and emails especially with attachments will take up lots of room. if u dont want to delete them completly just phone phone not server. transfer most of ur pics to mem card to. hope thats of use to u.

Just wondering, if you hold down your menu key and bring up the task manager, what programs are still running? Do you close all your applications or leave them running in the background? If you leave them running they can take up extra ram needed to run them, this could also be your problem. I know many people who don't realise that they have left programs running, it is quite common.
