Read/Edit *.app file???

can anyone tell me which software can i use to edit/read a *.app file?

I think it depends on what you want to edit. A .app file is like a .exe which consists of different files. There is this application which can be used to see whats inside a .app file and to put them back together but I cant remember the name.

thanks eshahwe. what i've done is unpacked a sis file which contains certain files including a .app file. now i want 2 be able to read & possibly edit this .app file. let me know when u remember the name of this software. will come kinda zip manager be able 2 unpack the .app file??? will check it out.

Don't know if it will do App but it looks like it should edit most files?

thanks jago, i have already tried it. A .app file opens using Yedit, but its gibbrish. i think there's asoftware that opens it on the PC.
