Calender..

Hi,

I was wondering whether there is a program or file that you can run that lets you use national holiday and name-day markings on the calender. There used to be a program in 9110 if I recall correctly. Any insights, anybody.

i used one for my pal, but none in my 91x or 92xx.

Just try to import it in outlook, than sync.

(NOW TheSpecialBoy waves because can sync. again with outlook and office xp) 😃 😞 😮 :-? 8) 😃 :x :P 😮ops:    😉

Yes, well the thing is to have it running consecutively year in year out. Its a royal pain in the bottom typing everything over every year because some of the holidays dont fall on the same days 😞

But thaks for the imput. Anybody else?

P.s. saw something on colins site but it was in german and not quite what I was looking for.

What TheSpecialBoy probably meant was that in Outlook you can add the national holidays (you can choose whatever country you want) to the calendar automatically. You don't need to type them. This feature is somewhere in the calendar settings. Then when you sync, the holidays will appear in the communicator side. But this does not help you with the name-day problem. Besides, sometimes I have ended up with holidays appearing twice in the 9210 after a sync. :-?

The duplicates stuff is a bug of outlook.
Outlook cannot detect duplicate meetings, apointments and so on.

I used a F1 Calendar and after some sync I ended with 4 times items in my calendar.

Great

I now have double contacts. Somehow either outlook or my 9210 got confused with the phone numbers beginning with a +-sign (you know, the out-of-the-country-code) and made new ones without them. And now I have two of each person. None of them have +-signs anymore in their phone numbers. I wonder what will happen when I'm abroad and try to phone someone...

Did you evertry to import contacts database from CSV?

Is a mess I got numbers 20 characters long.

Thanks god is Power Data for my 9210.

Well, good to know. I checked the Outlook settings out ( dont really use Outlook for anything else, so didnt know this) and there it was. Great, so now I have the holiday side fixed.

Optimally it would be great that these holiday and namedays would not highlight the day on the calendar, but would in fact be incorporated into the system.

Maybe its something Nokia should implement themselves into the system??
