--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i have just recently purchased tomtom mobil for the nokia 6600 but i cannot get the .exe program files to work so that i can run the software
has any body out there got any ideas

Hi,

TomTom on a series60 phone like your 6600 does not need the .EXE file, it is there for Windows Smart Phones only.

Basically if you brought the whole package just pop the MMC card in the phone, boot it up & you should have a TomTom icon in your menu.

hi
i copied the software on to my 512mb card using my card reader
but there is no icon on my menu screen
what has gone wrong any suggestion

1) Transfer the folder 2577 to the root on your MMC.
2) Transfer the folder TomTom to the root on your MMC.
3) Transfer the folder TTMOBILE to: the folder /system/apps/ on your MMC
4) Restart your phone, and run the APP

Also make sure that all the files are not set to read only.

Hope this helps

I don't have the problem to start TTM but it don't want to recive signals from my GPS reciver! Maybe anyone who can help me by the way?

I read a lot of this mysteroius folder 2577. What's the matter with it?! My Nokia 6600 with TTM does not have this folder.
To fix the prob i mentioned above, I have been told to rename the folder in any name i want, but what shall i do without it?

Tom Tom is design to use only the Tom Tom GPS device, if you are trying to use another you must be trying to use a warez version and as such it cannot be advised about on here.
