I've figured out the firmware on my Nokia 6620 (2.14.1). How do I know if it's the latest and, if it's not, how do I update it?
I'm sorta new to this, so I'm not sure what all is included in the firmware. Are the Symbian OS and the Series 60 UI part of the firmware, or are they separete?
I understand the 6620 came with Symbian OS 7.0 and Series 60 2.0. I've heard that there's a Symbian OS 8.0 and a Series 60 2.1 out there. What's the difference? Will a firmware update upgrade these?
Lots of questions. Are there any good reference sites out there?

Type *#0000# on idle screen to chk out current firmware
Flashing is the only way to update them, go to nearest SC or better local unlocker, or even better read more about at below link:

No, OS nad S60 IU cant ber changed by firmware update!?

There is lot of improvements between OS6, OS7, OS8 and upcoming OS9, same as between win 98, 2000, XP or upcoming long horn 😃
