Newbie Sync question

I'm having some minor issues when syncing my Nokia 6620 to Outlook 2003 (on XP SP2) using Nokia Desktop Suite 6.2 (PC Sync 2.0). I'm using the USB data cable for connectivity. I'm using a basic one-way sync, with the PC overriding the device.

The problems are:

[*]Some items in the calendar won't synchronize. When I look at the log, there are 42 items that always fail to be written to the device. It's always the same 42 entries. I don't know what's special about these specific entries that triggers this behavior.
[*]To Do list duplicates entries. When I change due dates on a task in Outlook, the sync process does not overwrite the corresponding entry on the device; rather a separate entry is created with the new data.

Any help figuring out / eliminating these problems would be greatly appreciated.

If you upgrade to PC Suite 6.41 (on http://www.nokia.com/pcsuite), do the problems persist?

What does the sync log details say for the 42 entries that fail to be written? If you use Outlook offline or in cached mode without a connection, are there any conflicts reported in Outlook for those items?
