I know it is a silly question, but does anyone know how to change the operator logo on the cover side of the phone? I've gone to a couple of sites, downloaded a blank logo, but 1) I don't know where to save the file (I tried on the root of the communicator, in the documents folder, and downloads), 2) I'm not sure if simply downloading the file is the proper way - maybe I need to have someone SMS it to me?

C:\System\Apps\Phone\Oplogo for N6630 :icon14: 😉
But.....
You can use FExplorer (any jpeg/bmp, no resize), select any image, it will resize it --> select the image you want be operator logo, select options-file-set as operator logo.
Cheers.

Cheers.

NOKIA 9300 do not have c:/system/phone/oplogo folder or C:\System\Apps\Phone\Oplogo folder... there is even NO PHONE FOLDER! Only one folder named "logo" is c:/system/data/logo/ and there is some "*.ota" file... Thats all. (FYI: I tried move logo picture there, but nothing happend)
What now?
Ok, you made it to the right folder. The operator logo is stored there. Afaik you can only store one logo there at a time.
I made a folder in the messaging application where I store the operator logos that I got by SMS, so I can easily replace it anytime I want.
The operator logo actually always has the same name, which somehow specifies your operator.
You cannot store a picture there. Take a look at your existing *.ota file and try to replace your logo picture file with the exact name that already is in the logo folder.
This might help.

i havent tried this, but maybe it works.
you gonna need another phone to sms the logo to your commi using logo manager. then after you saved it, you might be able to get rid of it by going to menu, settings, display settings, then set the operator logo to off...
