does 7650 support bluetooth headset?
anybody have 1 and working?
i tested se bluetooth headset today and motorola bluetooth headset but 😞
they always find them selves but not working 😞(((
what do u think?
is it software bug?
or we need to change bluetooth chipset?

As I understand it the 7650 does not support the bluetooth audio profile which is required for headsets.
There have been some posts on this board about the 7650 only requiring an updated flash ROM to support headsets but I have no idea if that is true.
We can hope though 😊
The 7650 user manual stated very clear that it doesn't support BT headset. I think the BT software of 7650 need to be upgraded.
u can not upgrade it with new SW.
it is a Hardware problem.
so it will not work,also not with later SW-versions.

Its actually very clear that the 7650 doesn't support BT audio profile at all.
But i think that it should not be a software problem as it might just be some hardware settings on the hardware itself made the phone don't support the BT headsets.
The Nokia Wireless Headset HDW-2 is compatible with Nokia 3650, Nokia 6310, Nokia 6310i, Nokia 6650, Nokia 8910.
As its very clearly that Nokia 7650 will not be made support for BT headset.

I've been to the site for a look. I guess that the M1000 supports only Nokia 6310 as that's the only nokia phone with Pairing Instructions on it.
I speak about M1500. Plantronics sent me a mail saying me that the product is very new and that not yet it has arrived them of it manufactures.
The M1500 work in nokia 8810, 6110 and more old models witouth Bluetooth suport, but work with adaptor conected to mini janck hadnsfree conector. maybe in nokia 7650 pass the same thing.
Well if it is working on those old models I am sure it will with the 7650! It uses 2 bluetooth chips so it does not realy need bluetotth support on the phone! Thats great! thanx for pointing this out and my apologies for not noticing it! 😊 So I guess the BT audio profile is made redundant! 😊

i wonder how big the adaptor is
cos with 7650 the headphone jack is on top of the phone not like the other nokia on the bottom
Well you can see a picture of it in the web site! You can compare it with the actual headset!
