Hi, I would LOVE (and definately be willing to pay for such an application).
I'm not, however, sure weather it eil actually come out as a commercial public application or just on the rom of some phone (like the 3650)

Wow. You're so good to have GPRS free. I'm a heavy GPRS user. Heh. :P
In Turkiye, we have 4 operators with 2 expensive, 1 operator with 5euro/month unlimited use and 1 operator with free access to GPRS. We feel lucky also..

Wow!
In Singapore, nither of the operator really gives a unlimited GPRS use at a low cost.
Sighs. 😮ops:
I have recently spoke to Dag Olva Norem, Smartphone Product Manager at Opera. It would seem that while they have a version of Opera which runs on the 7650 because the executable is large it means that the phone is not practically usable for anything else once it is loaded. So unfotunately there won't be Opera for the 7650. However Opera are expect to provide a browser either as part of the preloaded software or as a consumer add on application for future Symbian OS phones - he did not specifically mention models but I expect that this means the 3650.
If you want to know more - particularly about the Small-Screen Rendering technology there will be a write up of my discussion with Dag Olva posted on www.wirelessdevnet.com some time this week.
Regards
I guess the thing to remember is that the 7650 is the first Series 60 model, there will undoubtedly be many more. Opera isn't ever going to pratical in a a 7650, but who knows maybe the 7650i might have it (we may find out very soon).

I see.. Hmm.. Ok 😉
