Got my 9300.. first problem with Outlook !

I think the problem might be because of SP2. Try installing SP1 or try an earlier version of Outlook.

I have not found any further info as of what action the software is attempting and what error is actually raised. Just that very uninformative error message, and no hint of what is actually happening.

I have looked through the event viewer to no avail and have failed to locate any log / debug facility on the software.

I have tried full reinstallation without success (both from the CD-ROM and download fron Nokia web site).

I have browsed through various on-line site & newsgroups and although this problem seems to be relatively common I have not seen any resolution / explanation.

Any help / suggestion would be most welcome...

I am using the same configuration witout problem, including SP2 adn Outlook 03. Just make sure you can see the window, which is almost always hidden, that requests permission to share data from Outlook. It asks for a time to allow this up to 10 minutes. If you dont find this and grant permission, you will get this error.

Well, out of dispair I did a full reinstall (XP + Oulook + PC Suite) and to my surprise it is indeed working !

I've learned to keep a "minimalist" system for my Outlook usage so it was a minor inconvenience...

I had similar Outlook problems, and it was solved when I installed the service pack for Office 2003 from the Microsoft website.

Windows and MS Office works in mysterious ways..... some time it works and some times it dont...

I had some problems with the SP2 but the last time i formated my HDD it seems to be fine...

I am glad to hear that u've running things well after all.
Unless you had the MO outlook as your default mail editor, the communicator sync. will not synch.well with the pc.
I tried it myself.
