I found this link, and it's written in Java. You can download the source code, and the .Jar file. And it's open source.
The program itself is only 450k, the roms aren't that big either. The question is can anybody convert this to run on our 7650's?
I have absolutely no programming skills, But i (and many others) I would imagine would love to see this ported. Let's hope somebody out there can do it, or knows somebody who can do it. 😊

To be honest, mobile Java is different enough that it would mean completely writing most of the code.
However, the size of this program proves that it can be done in a nice low footprint. It'd be possible to write a J2ME MAME client, I'm just not sure how the speed of the devices would affect things.

i think the speed would suffer alot, u need a powerful processor to run the games at proper speed in an emulator. It might be able to handle something such as space invaders or asteroids but not much else.
of EMame, Mame for EPOC instead. Ports exist for Series 5, Series 7, Uiq, so a port to the 7650 should n't be a big problem, just that the screen is a little bit on the small side.
...and EMame can be found here: http://www.yipton.demon.co.uk/

... and 9210 version of EMame is in my home page:

It is Open Source so anybody can take the sources and port it to 7650. No, I have no time to do it but I can give some support for the porting work.
