It seems that the M$ smartphone, in this case Orange SPV, will not be available in 11 Nov. as announced before, but will be delayed (again) a couple of weeks... 😊 M$ fans, are they still patient?
M$ Smartphone to be delayed again?
I thought it had already been released on Orange? :-?
Not that i'm interested in it 😉
OK, so I was a little bit bluffing about this, by following a very easy logic 😊, but it seems that indeed, the phone was not available today on UK shops, and it will not be in the next couple of weeks. Not that I am interested in it, but only happy when a M$ product is delayed again and again... so at the end there is a big chance the product will never be released 😊
As long as the Symbian boys don't get complacent.
What is Microsoft going to do when it looks back at the complete arse-over-tit mess that it has made of this whole thing?
I'll tell you what Microsoft won't do: They won't throw in the towel.
They have the money to reform and remarket. In just about all the markets Microsoft lead, they started off cocking up.
I hate Microsoft, trust me, but I don't think we can dance on its grave yet. They have the money and the contacts to achieve the dominance they want.
They will lie about the competition, they will lie about their own innovation and they will lie about why their products are better.
I'm not so sure!
I think if the SPV fails then MS Smartphone will fail. Of course that is a big if. Sendo dropping the Z100 is a huge blow. MS and Orange are really aiming the SPV at businesses and for Sendo to drop the device and go for Nokia series 60 will make them think about MS being the natural (safe) choice.
An interview with an M$ droid is shown below: (warning, rudeness)

In fact this might be the main point, M$ has the ability to make people believe what they want, i.e. that they are the best and they will always win if they want to. Either they are very good at propaganda, either the competition is bad at this point or does not want to lie so much...
I read many articles and opinions on the web, with the main idea that any M$ competitors (like SUN, Netscape, Linux, IBM, etc.) will never be able to win, and if M$ want something, will always get it. But, in my opinion, this is wrong: Java is not over and Linux is not over at all. And of course Symbian will be the first one to prove that it’s possible to beat M$, and many others will come 😊
Look at this article below:

P.S. I am not a Linux fan, in fact I am not using it at all right now, but I would not mind to use it if it prove to be better, or if I would have the choice to use it against M$ software.
Well many reviews have already pointed out that Linux is now easier to use than Windoze XP, then with added bonuses that most software is free and lacks the windoze eXPerience (BSOD).
As shown by The Register at http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/4/28008.html M$ seem to have realised that making up lies about all the opposition doesn't seem to do their reputation any favours. Well there's a suprise.
