Hi, pal! I had same prob b4. It was MMC to blame. Ive changed my MMC and everything working perfectly now. I guess it's problem with some MMCs which come with 6630.
Cool, well the fuds are sending out a new phone and card tomorrow so fingers crossed its sorted.
Thanks for the reply. Part from that it seems like a good phone!

I had the same problem. I found that if I took out the card, rebooted the phone without the card in and then reinstered it with the phone switched on the card worked again. It's been fine since. Just before I did this I did put the phone in a card reader on my pc but don't see how this could have helped.
Thats the new phone here now. Went to restore my back up and it said "no backups created for this phone" and recognised the phone as "6630 (2)" - bastard!
Thankfully I had also "transferred" my contacts out of it and was able to import them back in, though it took 3 attempts as it kept bombing halfway through.
Only problem Ive spotted so far (in the first 2 minutes) is that the top of the screen is dark.
Will see how it all goes and if it annoys me over the next few days I'll send the fucker back yet again.
