To solve comm problems between Nokia 9500 and MS Outlook:

Analysis: The problem is caused by a corrupted Agenda file.

Solution:
-Enable in Office, File Manager, MENU Tools, Settings: Show system directory > Yes
-Go to Calendar, MENU File, More Options, Save as: save the calendar file under a different name, and exit/close the Calendar Application
-Go to Office, File Manager, Communicator\System\Data to the Calendar file, and delete the file. BE SURE THAT ALL YOUR CALANDAR DATA ARE IN THE MS OUTLOOK CALANDAR
-Go to Tools, Synch, MENU, Tools, Reset PC Suite profile.
-Remove battery and restart 9500
Esthablich connection between PC and 9500 and do the synchronisation from the PC

I tried doing that, but file manager would not let me delete the Calendar file, even though I had made a copy, opened the copy, closed the copy and exited the Calendar program. It seems that the calendar file remains open in memory or something, because it fires up very quickly when you press the Calendar shortcut.

The only way I've been able to correct this problem is to actually format the drive, reinitialize the phone and sync - thus all contacts and calendar information is restored. A major pain, howerer. Hopefully a good resolution to this problem will be found.

thank you very much peter.
my 9500 sync wasnt working at all.
now it works like a charm again!!!
God bless you!
