A925 - half of the screen doesn't respond

Hi,
I bought recently an A925 on Ebay, knowing that it has been slightly water dammaged. Half of the screen doesn't respond to any stylus touch. Only the Home icon works and the button shortcuts. I tried to go to the control panel, then Master reset, but can't enter any numbers as the keys on the touch pad don't work!. When I touch the screen with the stylus, I can hear the bip. The screen light up OK and I can see it clear.

The screen doesn't seem to be dammaged and I have the feeling that it could be either the firmware or the OS.

Can anyone help?

Tx.

Have you tried calibrating the screen? It may be a long shot, but i had something similar happen to my A925, and the calibration sorted it.
