Hi forum,
maybe you could give a short advice to a newbie in OPL programming (but not programming at all!!).
I've been playing around with the helpful OPL Event core (Tnx Ewan) to get some hands on the system.
What I currently do not know (and could not find in opl 5/6 doc):
How to get/create scrollboxes to have screens larger than the physical size; respectively how does a scrollbox appear when generating more output than is fitting on screen.
What did I miss? ...or just rtfm?😮ops:
Thank you,
Markus
You can define windows bigger then the actual size.
What I do with Cartoon Today;
I draw my images on a location and when I scroll I decrease the starting x,y
At some point I even gcopy the image at a -5,-60 location.
The best way is to check out the gscroll option probably (haven't myself but I assume this is what you need😉 )
There is also a scrollbar include file created by third party developers.
you'l have to search for it because I can't remember the url.
Good luck!
Hi Dazler,
Thanks for the really prompt reply!
I'll give it a try.
Bye,
Markus
