Addressbook solution needed

2 replies · 2,310 views · Started 03 March 2005

I have p910i but only outlook express on my desktop winXP computer.

Now the Win Addressbook in Outlook Express is limited in the other to some 1094 letters or wo while the Office Outlook Addressbook has no such limits in comments other.

We tested on another computer over the phone I talked to the customer care here in Sweden they synced a 30kbyte big file with no problem but when he did it with the outlook express it snipped off 29 kbyte of text.

So I need a work around?

How big files is managable using the jText text editor?

Or are there a way to find a free address book without needing to use the very big openoffice one. Too much to download.

My suggestion for you is to upgrade your email client to OUTLOOK. And install plaxo to backup all your data (adddress book, calendars, notes, tasks) online. It enable you to have online update to all your contacts and also act as a backup for your phone.

I happen to have the following setup:
A Win XP Professional with Outlook 2003.
A P800 (SonyEricsson) that synchronizes with outlook using the SonyEricsson sync tool.

Since I installed Plaxo (which clearly changes how Outlook behaves) it is not possible to sync with the phone anymore. The normal permission dialog from Outlook simply never shows. 😮

Duh. Now I ge to start over again. I thought I had it made... :frown:
