O2 email on 6260

I'm struggling retrieving my emails from my O2 online email address. There are no surefast instructions on the O2 website, but they give you the details for remote POP3 access through Outlook, so i've adapted these. I can compose mails and my phone will log on and send them remotely with no problems, but i just seem to get connection errors when i try retrieving mail from my inbox. I've rechecked the O2 website but they just say that they do not provide support for this service!

Does anybody have any more of an idea than me?!

Right first of all 02 CS know nothing. First have u got the GRPS and MMS setting from the site? If so, cool, but that won't work as you need the GPRS internet setting (not GPRS WAP as the CS person kept telling me) and they are not on the site anywhere.

You need to create a new connection in setting and then Access points with the following.....

Name: 02 GRPS Internet
Data Bearer: GPRS
Access Point: mobile.02.co.uk
Username: 02web
Password: password

Then go to advanced settings and enter the following....

Primary name: 193.113.200.200
Second name: 193.113.200.201

Once done go to your mailbox account and set the Access point to the new connection.

And that should work as long as ur POP setting are correct.

Rock.
