Well got the 9500 this morning after two years of an ngage. attracted to it cos of the WLAN, trouble is i cant get the sod to work. My main PC has a belkin router attached, have a laptop too which works alongside it fine. surely the 9500 should find the connection and share it too ???
had a couple of probs wit hthe laptop cos of firewall but even with that disconnected it finds it but doesnt connect ?!?!?!
also have the same sort of prob with GPRS, the settings are there but cant seem to connect ?!?!
also im not convinced its working properly in general, quite a few times the applicaiton / menu im in will crash taking me back to the desk, is this normal ?
any help or pointers would be great, ive scoured the nokia site and the manual but cant find any help there.
That doesn't sound normal. I would suggest perhaps thinking about doing a hard reset [sorry can't remember keys off hand try search on this forum - I think its Ctrl+Shift+F on startup], and if things dont improve taking it back to the retailer.
You shouldn't have any problems with GPRS, but you could always try having your Operator send you an auto configuration message (check their website, also available for most countries on nokia.com).

thanks, ive resovled some problems only to have them replaced by others, its just a stream of error messages !
bought the machine as a repaired warranty covered machine, just hope it has actually been repaired.

as a newbie to 9500 why cant i browse to my yahoo account. it says "the browser your using is resfusing cookies" like that... i changed the configuration to always allow cookies but it wont work. why is it like that? :frown:
