Hi,
Just got my 9500 this week and I am interested in getting the Nokia Essentials. Has anyone use it before and how useful is it?
Thanks

Well, I haven't bought it, nor have I used every app in the suite, but I cannot see it being worth their asking price.
First of all, the ZIP manager is included in the 9500/9300 sales package.
Second, their eBook Reader is ridiculously expensive, and there are free alternatives out there like the Mobipocket Reader - which, IMO, is also better.
Third, there may be better alternatives to Power Data - read: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/34614/
Forth, there are also several alternatives to Code Vault, some which may be better.
Fifth, EpocWare isn't exactly known for their excellent customer service...
These are just my opinions though, so take it as you like. However, I do advice you to have a look around at what's available before you go spend $60 on the "Nokia Essentials" suite.
Some other apps that I find really essential are: PowerDesk, Automail and Agile Messenger.
I'm assuming you referring to Epocware Software bundle (http://www.handango.com/ampp/store/PlatformProductDetail.jsp?siteId=308&jid=9998B76X48X571CA663936DX258431D6&platformId=4&productType=2&productId=28535§ionId=0&catalog=1&topSectionId=-1).
I use it and find it very useful. There are alternatives for some of the stuff in the bundle (e.g. Mobipocket as an alternative eBook Reader). Personally I think its worth it for the Power Data and Code Vault parts. You can downalod a trial version yourself form the link above.
Thanks guys for your help. Been busy last few weeks and not been playing with my new toy. However, I found that the sms is rather strange. Sometimes, I am able to see the sender's name and sometimes I only see the text on the small screen. I am not sure is that normal?
