Yo dude the tomtom mobile has built in POI warner you dont need seperate software to warn you when your near POI's

Hey,

The speed camera POI's you are refering to are a different entity & need to be copied into the GB Map folder of TomTom.

They are seperate .OV2 files downloadable from the website which then just need copying to the right folder.

They are not installed with TomTom as standard.

I've got TomTom Mobile 5 on my 6600 and it works fine. However the speed camera POI's (.OV2 files) are not working. I've copied all the files into GB Map folder. Any idea why they don't work or where i need to copy them to?

You need to copy the ov2 and bmp files into the map folder. Then, in the Manage POI menu, make sure they are activated and that they have a sound attached to them. You can download specific audio files with Gatso warnings from the PocketGPS site where you acquired the gatso db.

There are full instructions on the PocketGPS site.

I've copied the files (.bmp and .ov2) to the map folder as you suggested, however when i go into Manage POI to activate them, they are not visible.
