QD and uploading question.

Sorry, this is most likely my last question. I am getting the QD (so far anyway), and just want to make sure that I'm right about what I have read. I can upload software to the QD with just the bundled PC software that comes with it right? This also includes uploading to MMC cards correct?

The thing I'm not so sure about yet is that the QD does not come with a USB cable, so I have to upload via BlueTooth? I read somewhere that I needed a bluetooth USB adapter or something. I found a few of these on ebay for cheap so no big deal here. But I want to make sure this is what I need first.

Anyway. once again I'm just asking because I want to develop java apps for it and want to make sure I don't need to buy anything else besides the QD and an MMC card. (And well a few games. 😉)

You do need a Bluetooth adapter. Also, check http://www.n-gage.com for the latest PC Suite, instructions etc.

You can also use a PC-based memory card reader to move files between the phone and PC.

For Java application development you need the Series 60 SDK for Java development. Download the 1.2 version from here (don't get "2.*" or "2nd Edition" versions, because they are for newer phones) : http://www.forum.nokia.com/main/0,,034-483,00.html
