6630 on orange

Comes with data cable but no stand. Memory card is 64MB. I've had no problems whatsoever with it on Orange, it's a brilliant phone (but then, I loved the 6600, and the 6630 is its natural replacement)

i have a ngage now and am looking for a camera phone and i have become attached to symbian and its many applications so it seems a good idea, I found a good contrct on orange, the phones free and its only �25 a month and has plenty of texts and enough minutes to suit my usuage. Having this contact for a year still cost less than just the phone of pay as you go. Im glad it has the data cable, the stand dont matter i could maybe get one later. Hopefully i will order it 2moro or 2nite.

You could wait fro 6680 but you know its going to cost a bit.

I have ordered a 6630 on a orange contract and they sent the order confimation 2days ago but havent sent a credit check confimnation email yet even though it says that it takes 24 hours at the most. If they mess me around i will wait for the 6680 to be released and if by then there has been an advance on the unlocking of these phones i will get it on the cheapest network and unlock it. If not i will get that on a orange contract but get it sorted in store insted of the internet.

Good news, I have just recieved my Nokia 6630 on an orange contract and i love it :icon14: lol Its a wicked phone, I have installed some of my .sis apps and games of my N-gage i was just wondering if anyone has any good apps they recopmend for the 6630 and knows any good themes i will search the forums later at the mo im bust beavering away settin things up on it 😃

I like using the crystallized theme. Its perfect save for analogue clock glitch on 6630. There's another version that has a proper analogue clock but has afew other imperfections.

hi i have the phone set up on orange now i have free data but the internet on it seems slow just like anyother phone really it is by gprs, is this the only way of accessing the internet and what is EDGE and how does this work

Yes, it's slow. Still in its infancy, and 3G on Orange is a hit-and-miss affair. See here for EDGE info.

Make sure you connect using Orange Internet. If you have a good 3G signal your speeds will be excellent. Try downloading a movie for example and watch how fast it goes compared to EDGE! 😊

oh ok connect using orange internet thats what im doing wrong coz i was using orange gprs lol. Will this still be free it says i have 1000mb of free data

one more thing how can u change the Keypad lock to auto matically lock itself i know how to auto lock the whole phone but this requires a pass word and it a bit tiresome after using it for a day

Orange 3G

So this means I can connect my laptop to the internet for free? When you go to Orange's G3 site it says you have free data and then talks about additional services Orange World Access priced around a quid a meg with a 4 meg minimum. When would you have to use this instead of the free suff. So I guess I need to ask, what is the point of Orange World Access.

I'm also extremely interested in updating my website only using my mobile phone.

The internet is free for 3months n then it will start to cost a lot unnless you get a data package. This happened by an accident but i had the 6630 connected to my pc by its data cable and i went to sign on to my AOL and it started setting itself up as a modem if you have all the server connection number and whateva u need to connect it would work like dial up but just faster i assume.
