Power save - clock

I had a Nokia 6230 before I got my P910i, and I kind of liked the clock screensaver on the Nokia, because it had icons for Missed calls and Messages. Does this feature exist for the P910i?

Cheers,

No, but look at Psiloc's Screensaver for UIQ, it does exactly what you're looking for.

Tested out the Psiloc screensaver, It had some system information, but could not see any "missed call" or "new message" icon.. And, for me, it seemed a bit unstable. Is there any other screensavers out there?

it does have missed calls indicator, as well as new (SMS) message.

Why do you think it's unstable? I have been using it for over a year, and maybe about 3 times the phone (P800) closed it down due to memory being needed for other applications (it also closed down tracker). But in normal use I haven't had any problems

Well, maybe I did something wrong, but I checked "every" checkbox in the configuration. Tried both calling and sending sms, but no icons....

With unstable I mean that when i opened the flip, the screensaver wouldn't go away, and the only way of getting rid of it was to restart the phone. It may be the SMan and Flush tasks..

here you can see the indicators (in the configuration options, I have checked "indicators"😉.

EDIT: make sure you have installed the latest version - 2.41, that has all the indicators.

I use my P800 without a flip, also I do not use the screen lock option.

Try it without the screen lock option.

Screensaver is classed as a system app, so even if the interface is closed, the screensaver server is still running, so Sman should not flush it. But anyway, check Smans "show hidden apps" option to make sure ScreenSaver is running, and take a snapshot.
