Slow Bluetooth Connection

As you can tell I'm new to the forums. I just recently got my 6600, and I have a IOGEAR Bluetooth Dongle. Well It says the range is 100m and the Data Transfer rate is up to 723 kbps, but I only get like 17 to 25 kbps. Is there a way to speed it up. Also I can't walk 20 feet away without losing my connection. Is there something I can do. Thanks for your help in advance

i guess its also got something to do with the signal strength and max bluetooth transferring speed on the phone.i tried a bluetooth dongle (same 100m and 723kbs) and i was able to find my pc from outside in the garden but that was with a t68i.something i'd recommend is to move your pc to the other end of the room if its closer which may help the connection but also means rearranging ya room around.

17-24k/s is a not too slow speed, my N6600's bluetooth transmission speed could only get 5k/s, even my mobile is near the USB dongle.
