hi! i need help. is there any way of changing the font size of 6630?
we have two units here at home, and these two units have different font sizes. One has the standard font similar to that of 7610, 7650 and 6600. (the typical font for symbian phones) which is good. However, the other unit has a much finer and smaller font.... The one with the smaller font is a more updated version.
Is this possible?
Any advice?

i just discovered something. the phone with the small font has chinese letterings in the keypads...

Yep, the phone with the small font is an Asian region handset.
You can ask a Nokia service centre to flash the other phone with Asian language firmware, or make a smaller font and install it yourself using this guide and the software it links to: http://www.symbian-freak.com/tunning/fontquide/font.htm
Chinese/English or Japanese/English versions use a different system font (that also includes Chinese or Japanese symbols). You can't get those fonts otherwise than with a Chinese or Japanese firmware release.
No, but you can make a new font set and install it on any Series 60 handset using the information in either of the two links above 😉
Easier and quicker than fannying around taking the phone to a service centre to have it flashed.

i realize when i change the default font for the 6630, e.g. to modern.sis the only fonts that change are my FExplorer and my screensaver, every other screen the fonts the same, is anyone getting this as well?
