Will my nokia 7610 be able to work with RS-MMC 512 MB?? Maybe somebody have MMC 512 it's working with this phone??

I have tried the RS-MMC 512MB from TwinMOS at Cebit and it works fine.
But I did try Kingmax's RS-MMC clone, (it works with dual voltages or something and was backwards compatible with RS-MMC, but I forgot it's name) and it worked too. But I did notice the Kingmax clone worked faster.

I am yet to see a Symbian phone go over 512mb, I have a 9300 and I tried to put a 1GB MMC card in it, didn't even recognise the card was there, same thing happened with that card in a 9500. Funny, the card works fine in the card reader and also in my brother's 6230 (Non Symbian!)

Just to add to myself, have also tried that 1GB card in an N-Gage QD, came up as "MMC Corrupted"

Phones max is 512MB, maybe future fw's will support higher.

So I tried a 1GB MMC/ducktape/7610 combo yesterday and it cost me a hard reset 😊 512MB works, 1GB makes it flip (plus MMC doesn't fit that good 😊)

@Nexxus77 I am seeing a lot of 1GB MMC 'NGage compatible' cards show up?

i've tried to use 1gb on my 6670 and it wasn't working. Phone even wasn't able to see the card. why so?
