Memory too low

Whenever I want to "add" a picture to a contact, and try to open the picture for editing, it would say "memory too low" and it would close the image again.

Is there a way to free up memory on the 7710? How can we view what applications are taking up all the memory?

I found a soloution, thanks to Jah's post at mobile burn.

Go over to my-symbian.com and download Switcher for the 9210 (works fine on the 7710). You'll then be able to view the open applications, switch between them and even close unwanted applications.
