I have a P900 synchronised with outlook 2003.
Each time I try to synchronise a security message pops up saying :
"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in outlook. Do you want to allow this..."
And each time I have to give him acces to synchronise!!!
Is there anyway I can bypass this or just have outlook not to ask this question by default??
This dialog comes up because the sync app uses Microsoft suggested and documented programming calls to access Outlook data. If my memory serves me right, this notification was added in an Outlook service pack and/or security fix around 1999 or 2000 in response then then infamous "love letter" macro virus. In other words, to prevent applications on the PC accessing Outlook data without the user being aware of it.
You can't disable it.
However, if the synch app developer cooperates with Microsoft, they could write their code so as to not invoke it (might require digital signing of the app, I don't know for sure).
Altenatively, there are Windows apps that you can use to monitor pop-up dialogs like this and the app will answer the dialog automatically in the way you wish. In other words, you can automate the acceptance and dismissal of this dialog with such a Windows program. I don't remeber any names for such apps, but start searching at, e.g., the Shell Extension City: http://www.shellcity.net/

I have downloaded the freeware mentionned on delta747's link. It works fine actually!!
My only worry is that security issue since "Viruses" now can have access more easily to my adress book...
Anyway I gess that I have to do some concessions...
