Email settings

For gmail, look up the POP3 settings on gmail.com.

For Hotmail: can't be done directly as Hotmail doesn't support Internet standard email protocols (POP3 or IMAP4 for reading and SMTP for sending). You can try the WAP browser interface (point the "Services" app to the URL http://mobile.msn.com/wml/).

If you can find a service provider that can connect to Hotmail and offer you a POP3 or IMAP4 interface, then such a service provider's settings would work too.

See the N-Gage User's Guide for details on how to define an email mailbox settings (use the values received from gmail, etc.).

For outgoing mail you may have to, in all cases, use your operator's SMTP server name or address for sending to work.

hereis what u need, buddy:

incoming mail server😛op.gmail.com
outgoing mail server:smtp.gmail.com
user:[email protected] (remember, username must be your mail address)
mailbox type😛op3
security😮n (if i'm not wrong, cause if we access from windows client like outlook, must use ssl)

m very much frustrated with n-gage qd & disappointed with profimail, it never connects me to anything...i did a hel lot permutation & combination with the port nos. for gmail and hotmail doesn't work either (mobile.msn.com/wml).
ny suggestions??
I'd really appreciate if someone could post me the settings in profimail client for popular mails (yahoo/gmail...)
