In Calendar, make an entry and select the 'Status' tab. The top item says 'Colour/Symbol marking', press it and you get a choice of 16 (dull) colours. My question is, how do you select a symbol instead of colour?
The manual also suggests you should be able to select a symbol (p66): "Status Page - You can define a color and symbol for the entry..."
I've discovered you can press the 'Chr' key when inputting text and select a symbol (a smiley face for example) but pressing 'Chr' while in the 'Colour/Symbol marking' bit doesn't do anything.
Am I just misinterpreting what this means or is there a way to add a symbol here?
Just use white color and press the symbol you want and that's done! You can use it with any other color in the list!
Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. How do I select a symbol once I've selected white?
Do you mean adding a symbol into the 'Description' field instead? If so, yes I could do that but I'd like to know how to do it in the field I mentioned as it seems is meant to be possible.
Oh, I just figured out what you meant!
For anyone still in the dark, in the 'Colour/Symbol marking' just press a key for a letter to appear e.g. an 'A' for example.
I was thrown by the idea of a 'symbol' (like the smiley face) - I wasn't thinking it meant a letter.
