Now that USPS finally brought me my 512MB RS-MMC, I was putting more media files on the phone and found some little annoyances. (I know I came from a SEP910i, but still...)

- No AVI/MPG playback 😞 What program + settings do you guys to convert them to 3GP/MP4?
- No MP4 playback (?! even my old P800 had this) because I get an error, but it should play MP4 according to the website?
- Ringtones (MP3): although I do not want it, it plays my MP3 when I get called at a low tone first and after a few second it switches to loud. This is quite annoying since I really need the high volume (bad hearing).

Now I tried ImTOOO to convert MPG and AVI to a supported format, but what settings should I choose? I tried various, but both sound and visual are crappy and I want some music videos on it 😉

Some questions, if not all, will be stupid but I can't help it. I'm still getting used to this phone and I did some Google'ing, but I came up with a shitload of results and none of them really answered my questions 😞

Again, thanks for the help.

I don't know about your other problems, but your ringing volume problem is fixed easily...Either back off the volume one or two notches or turn off the vibrating feature, or use a different profile (other than general).

Thanks a lot JL! One problem down.
Glad I found this website, too bad I only Google'd it after I sold my SEP910i 😞

Searched some more over here and I found Nokia Multimedia Converter and it does the conversion a bit better, albeit still not up to my standards (which are probably too high 🙄 )

Made a new profile, tried the volume thingie... nothing 😞
And I can't turn off the vibrating function, I usually respond to that.

And I found an XviD codec for the 7610 😃 So I'm really starting to like this phone.
I didn't find a DivX codec, but I did bumped into a developer kit to make this. Need to take a look at that when I'm on vacation 😊

I need help.
I have problems with the Bluetooth connection, I have spoken with Nokia Support and they dont give any solution.
My system is :
Ibm Thinkpad R51, with Windows XP SP2, MS Outlook 2003 SP1, PC SUITE 6.41.6 (Spanish version), Enumerador Bluetooth Microsoft and IBM Integrated Bluetooth III.

The phone icon listen me that is connect, but when I try to synchronise the report of Nokia PC Sync inform that The SynML Client dont answer.

Help me please.
