I did because other people tested it without success! :frown:
I'm working on it....
The download is now available.
Can you report which error message you receive, if any?

I need some beta-testers:
ther is a z:\system\samples\eshell.exe program on a1000: it starts a DOS box.
Somebidy should try from there some command lines to start apps from memory card: if you successfully start apps from command line, I can do the same from inside my program!

But, messing with ESHELL.EXE can lock up your phone and make it unusable, BE CAREFUL! YOU ARE WARNED!

Tried that a couple of times before. Never worked. And, unfortunately, your program doesn't launch applications from D: either. It's the exact same error you get when trying to launch an application from any other file manager; an empty requester with the title "Access denied", and a "Continue" button.

I'm trying a little trick: my app will temporary copy needed app to C : \ , then it'll delete it after it has been used. 😃 I'm working on it just now....

Great idea 😉 Hope you can manage it...I tried the old version and I think it almost there

Unfortunately my poor java knowledge does not allow me to go on with the development: my program now successfully copies files from D to C, and can execute them.... but only on my PC! :frown: Due to the damned CLASSPATH "feature" of java, I can't get the program working on the a1000!

I put the source on my page, I hope some good java programmers can get it working. I don't know what else to do with that damned CLASSPATH in c:\system\apps\jAppStarter\jAppStarter.txt !

that IS the best solution, and works perfectly

no problems, only some apps that resufe to work from d on any mobile anyway dont work
