I have recently had my first bill from T-Mobile UK and there was a part that said 600kb free data so i spoke to T-Mobile and they said that this was where i was browsing the internet and told me that it is free to browse the web and that i only pay for stuff that i download is this true ?????

You'll have to check your contract details for that info. I Know on vodafone its free to visit the vodafone live site, but I believe you have to pay to look at other websites.

What tariff are you on?
I think they were referring to browsing the t-zones pages, as when you are browsing html pages you are in essence constantly downloading. But do give them another call to confirm.
I have called them and it seems it is not free and there was a charge on my account for �16 from where i used it yesterday but they have said that they will credit this amount as i was informed wrongly. They also let me swap my 200 free texts to 6MB of data per month which is pretty good as i dont use the texts anyway.....
So the t-zones access is free then???

Fuck knows as I've never had the inclination to use it, but knowing t-mobile it probably isn't.

and other day..(i'm prepaid )..had no money on my acc, and i said: let't do the surfing...
and..suprisingly..i was able to surf..i think downloaded few MB
later on..i called help..and they said that it may be later deducted..
