Sendo getting sued by Sony-Ericcsson

This won't cause Sendo to close. They've been in discussions with Ericsson about the royalty fees in question anyway, so I'm sure this will get settled fairly easily.

Ultimately, I think this is a move by Ericsson to try to force Sendo's hand into paying a possibly higher than is reasonable license fee.

Be careful with the topic subject; it is just "Ericsson", not "Sony Ericsson" that's going after Sendo (and it is Ericsson with one 'c' in both cases). 😉

They are different companies (even if Ericsson owns half of Sony Ericsson).

Yeah, Sony-Ericsson and Ericsson are two very different companies.

It's Ericsson, who own a lot of the GSM and GPRS patents, who are suing Sendo, not Sony-Ericsson, who just make phones. (and therefore have to pay royalties to Ericsson as well)

Will you please GROW UP!

Have you even read what this law suit is about? Do you understand one word of it? WHY WON'T YOU JUST LEAVE THIS FORUM??? - We're all bored of you now!

hell Im just worried that Im going to lose support for the phone, think Sendo has got a good base to go from but there are issues with the phone that really are annoying . Some definite features that I like especially the voice command, first damn voice command program that has ever worked with my voice 90% of the time.
