Spoke with Sony Ericsson today they confirmed that the P800 would not be released in the UK until "mid Jan 2003". I was told that this is because of UK network issues. I was told that it will start to be released "everywere else" from middle of next month. He said that the warrenty would cover phones brought overseas in the UK but if I did purchase one for use in the UK some features would not work on the UK Network!!!.
I called again and spoke with someone else about 2 hours later and they told me the same sh-peel.
I want to know from you users outside of the UK the second some is offering the P800 for real so here in the UK we dont have to sit around reading everyones emails about them until they come out. PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE.
