Hi2all,
With this very small programm you will be able to install and run applications on external memory card, just like from internal memory.
nopEX and instructions are available here: http://www.nop.at/nopex/
Pls post the name of working and non-working apps, I will collect them and put them on the web-page. Tnx!
And BTW: Vibor v1.3 is available, with single-keypress-switch-global-alert-mode feature: http://www.nop.at/vibor/

??? Is this any different from starting the applications from any of the (free) filemanagers available (hence 90% of the available applications won't work)?

Yes, it's different, because you don't have to manually move the application after installation (it can be directly installed to memory card) and it will appear in the system's launcher, and therefor also in any other application-selection, like for the shortcut key etc.

Ok, it's just that I've heard soo many times before "finally, with this solution you will be able to run applications from your memory card", and the never work. I'll give it a whirl and let you know what applications I've tried and which of them works from D:.
Well, with this application, you have without a doubt proven me wrong. It works great!
The apps I've tried that works so far that aren't on your list are Lemmings, n-player and ftp800.
I'm having some trouble with PDF+, though. It won't start when installed on X:. Just pops up an empty requester with a "Continue" button.
BlueEyes doesn't seem to work either. It looks as if it's expecting a file or directory in some place where it can't find it.
hi !
pdf+ is OK on X: ,
blueyes is also OK on X: , but you must put the 2 folders, images + sound on c:
you can also compress your apps on X: with stacker !
but if you have some apps that need to have files on C: , then remember to uncompress them.

I have installed nopEX and got an error message ("Program Contacts, Reason code: KERN-EXEC, Reason number: 0"😉. Actually, I receive often this kind of error messages... Does anyone has an advice for this? Thank's, Roland
