6600 screen blanks at screen saver

Hi has anyone had this problem or know the solution.

I have a 6600 which woriks all day when in an application such as tomtom mobile ... but when it is lest to go into screen savar mode, after anything from 2 minutes to 30 miutes later the screen blanks. The screen then remains blank no matter what buttons I press. I can still make calls but have to enter the numbers blindly so to speak.

Does anyone know if flashing the phone would solve this and if so where can I find simple instructions on how to do this.

There are no simple instructions to flash your phone (and it involves also relatively expensive flashing equipment and illegally distributed firmware files). So, if you want to reflash your phone, take it to your nearest authorized Nokia service center.

Before reflashing, you could try uninstalling apps (in case it is caused by one which you have installed on your phone). If that doesn't help, try reformatting the phone. Only after that, consider having it flashed.
