Hi I have just got a 6600 for my wife but the phone has just started to turn itself off for no reason. It was fine for a couple of days then this problem just started, It was on Voda but i unlocked it so she can use her Orange chip in it. Is this fault common or do i have a defective handset? Any help appreciated. TIA

when ya say turns off,does the screen freeze then just slowly turn white then turn itself off.that happens to mine quite alot and i noticed its when the phones busy it does that

Nah the phone is usually idle, i may leave it for 10 mins then comeback and its switched off just happens randomnly it has never happened when im using it.
oh aight.i had that too with a motorola v2288 a few years back.i was told that the signal had something to do with it but how,i dunno.i aint too sure how to sort it cos i just got rid of it to some next poor guy lol
