App. Manager (& protected items)

Hey guys.

this may be a dumb question, but what is the significance of the red/blue colour squares next to the apps in the app manager?

and also, whenever I try and send an app (or ringtone!) via bluetooth, it says unable to send protected items... is this a vodafone thing ? is there an easy way round this or am i stuck with it?

Question 1: Blue: Java midlet (installed via .jar file) & Red: Native C++ Symbian app (installed via .sis file).

Question 2: Search for "Closed Content List" and "Digital Rights Management" and you'll know: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum/search.php (searching for "unable to send protected item" would work, too. 😉

To send items via BT just rename frm soandso.sis to soandso.si and there u have it!
