Can't see that it does much harm to be honest, it's just a bug/glitch in the software, I don't have a S60 to try it on but it seems from re-naming the phone in a certain way somehow sends a command to the phone trying to connect to shutdown/turn off.

Obviously this will be in next weeks S60 virus if it gets all over the net, which is probably why Symbian asked for it to be removed?

Aye either way it seems harmless and it strikes of M$ telling people not to let people know there's holes in their software as they are too lazy to patch until a year or two after it was found. Lets face it it's only really gonna be used by some guy down the pub saying "watch this". I can't see any exploit where this would cause a problem, as it's the connecting phone that gets turned off, and it's simple enough to say "don't send anything to anyone's name is " 1 " as it'll turn your phone off".
