how to format the phone?

If it is a 3650, 3600, 3620 or 3660, then it is *#7370# (do it with a full battery or on AC & you will be asked your phone's lock code, which by default is 12345).

If you forgot your lock code, take or send your phone to the nearest Nokia authorized service center.

Hey everyone. Im new here :tongue: i have a nokia 7650 that won't even start because when i turn on the phone a blank screen with 'Nokia' appears then it stays there for a long time, after a while i get a 'memory full' message. I've heard a formatting is the solution but as i read here the only way to format a nokia 7650 is with a code that you insert inside the system... the problem is i cant even get inside the system... what should i do, is there anyway for me not to get the phone on a store and fix it myself? No, there is no practical way for you to fix it yourself (unless you want to spend a lot of money on hardware equipment you won't need except this once + learning how to use the hardware + finding illegally distributed copies of firmware flash files + with no guarantee that it is enough to fix the problem in the first place).

In other words, the answer is for you, too: take or send your phone to the nearest Nokia authorized service center.
