A1000 'Phone' task memory leak?

5 replies · 4,068 views · Started 30 March 2005

The 'Phone' task is critical to call operation and must not be disabled.

When the A1000 is restarted, the memory size of the 'Phone' task is about 1MB. After a full day use with >30 voice calls, the memory size increased to ~7MB!

Is it normal? Any solution other than rebooting the A1000?

10!??? how do you deal with it? firmware upgrade?

I notice this as well, but ever since i flashed it with the generic firm, I dont see this problem anymore... so you might want to try and reflash it...

guess what? i got my a1k from 3 Hong Kong. they say no new firmware for us while Motorola HK has the new firmware but a1k from 3 HK are not eligible for upgrade. i just can't accept it!!!

can i go back to original firmware if there is ever a backup programme before i go the generic route?
