Hi

I have a 6600 that I have been told was a warranty replacement and 1 month old before I bought it. Nokausa.com have a site that validates warranties and gives the date purchased and remaining warranty ... but I cannot find an equivalent for UK phones ... does anyone know a free site that can tell me the age of my phone and warranty status ... alternatively does anyone have usefull codes to give the info ... .... (war0anty) does not work. Cheers John

As you noted *#war0anty# doesn't say anything with the 6600, Nokia (and perhaps also a Nokia authorized service center) would know the time it was manufactured by the phone's serial number (IMEI code).

However, as it might be months before it was actually bought by someone from a shop (which is when the warranty perioid starts), the only way to know exactly is by the sales receipt of the original store from where it was purchased).
