9300 - no WiFi

What a dumb move by Nokia.... Wifi connectivity is a very flexable & fairly fast means to access the net, not only in a home lan environment, where other computers may be busy or even OFF.... but also in Cafes, Airports etc....

Sacrifice the camera by all means from the 9500 - it's a gimmik anyway... but NOT wifi!

On that note, does anyone know whether Nokia or a 3rd Party plan to bring out a plug-on WiFi tranceiver + connecivity software, thus giving wifi capability back to the 9300?

Would be almost as stupid as leaving it out in the first place, not to bring one out!

Hmmm
is the 9300 supposed to be the superceeding model to the 9500, or just the 'lite' version?

How long has the 9500 been out compared to the 9300?

Anyone have an answer to the 3rd party plug-on module idea for Wifi yet?

I doubt thats ever going to happen. Why not just buy the Nokia 9500 if you wouldnt mind carrying a Nokia 9300 with an extra module to add Wifi.

Think 9500-lite version. Think different target markets. Different target users. Think increased market penetration for the Communicator brand.

Not everyone needs WIFI in a mobile device. If you need WIFI, then get a 9500. 😊

Sooo much better, a little bigger, but hey! it is actually easier to use the keyboard & actually feels more business like & less toy-like.
The Wifi is Incredible!!! & very intuative!
