IM SO DESPERATE....ONE NIGHT MY BATTERY DRAINED WHEN I WAS USING IT SO I TRIED TO CHARGE IT BUT IT WONT CHARGE ANYMORE..I TRIED SWITICHING MY BATTERY FROM 6600 TO 7610 (BATTERIES ARE THE SAME THOUGH) BUT STILL IT DIDN'T WORK...I FIGURED THE PROBLEM WAS THE PHONE NOT THE BATTERY COZ WHEN I SWITCHED THE BATTERY FROM 7610 TO 6600, IT TURNS OUT OK ON MY 6600...WHEW!!... I KNEW I DROPPED MY PHONE A WEEK BEFORE THE INCIDENT AND THAT'S ABOUT IT..AND UMMM I DONT THINK IT HAS WATER ON IT (NOT THAT IM AWARE OF)..NOW WHEN IM TRYING TO TURN IT ON, THE WHITE LIGHT COMES OUT FOR A SHORT WHILE AND SHUTS ITSELF OFF IN ABOUT 5 SECS...THIS IS CRAZY...I KNOW I COULD SEND THIS OVER TO NOKIA BUT THEN MY CONCERN IS THE PICTURES I STORED IN THE PHONE (SO STUPID I DIDN'T USE MY MEMORY CARD)....IF I SEND THIS TO NOKIA, IM PRETTY SURE THEY ARE GONNA REFORMAT THIS PHONE...IS THERE A WAY THAT I COULD FIX THIS ONE WITHOUT LOSING MY PICTURES INSIDE??? HELP PLEASE??? THANKS!!!

If the pictures aren't on the memory card, you can try to ask the service center if they can save them, but I wouldn't hold my hopes high. In any case, it sounds like the phone needs the care of a service technician.

Request from the nokia service to backup ur phone memory first.
But if ur phone memory corrupted then all ur pictures will be lost.

Suggestions:
If cause by water present in the phone especially from the side speaker proportion & some holes exposed, you can try blow the side of the phone dry with hair dry at low temperature. Test after that whether u can switch on the phone or not.

oh i remember something juz now...i think i may have spilled water on the holes when i was drinking but not too much though...the thing is it happened a long time ago, (about 1 month ago) i didn't do anything about the phone not until now...i will try to dry it with a blowdryer but im pretty sure that water inside it may have dried already...
thanks! so, nokia can make a back up for me? i wonder how they do it coz my phone wont even turn on...

thanks again!!!

Water (even very small amounts) and electronics do not mix well. And the effects may not be immediate (components or contacts may oxidize/corrode slowly and break much later when the "liquid damage" occurred).
