I have just got my nokia 6600 unlocked from orange and am trying to get it working on o2.
The problem I have is that I have downloaded o2 active and the settings for o2 via an SMS so I know all the settings are correct.
It keeps on trying to make a connection to GPRS every 3 minutes, I have disabled o2 active from making an automatic connection and disabled automatic software updates but it still keeps on making a connection to GPRS but not launching any apps
Is the GPRS (packet data) connection set to "When available" instead of "When needed" in the Settings app?
yea i remember when the 6600 1st came out they made a big deal about it being able to use o2 active.You absolutely cant use it with the 6600 because it downloads the first (of 5) parts but doesn't download the 2nd for some reason.I tried it with mine and got it worse,it tried making a connection every 10 seconds which meant resetting my phone which pretty much pissed me off
