Phone locks up...

About 1 in every 5 rings my phone when recieving a call goes crazy. I hit the green answer button and nothing happens. I try the other keys and nothing happens it wont even let me turn it off - it just keeps humming and making a pathetic attempt at ringing (sounds like the speakers are blocked) and the screen freezes. The phone just vibrates and hums and you can do nothing other than remove the battery to stop it. Once you've waited half an hour to re-boot the phone you can call the person who called you back.

This phone really is crap and I've had enough. I have written to watchdog. Hopefully if enough of us do this I would love to get this phone featured on the programme like the LG phone recently was. Sendo really should be exposed.

StuClark - please dont bother replying, you'll only tell me to stop moaning and whittle on about how great the phone is.

It's a pity you haven't read any of my other posts closely enough to realise I do try to help out, and do admit the valid faults on the phone. It's also a pity that you don't want me to reply (something I'm clearly about to ignore)

What you're describing sounds like something I've seen happen on my handset, although I haven't seen it enough to get an idea of what might be causing it. (don't know if that's a good or bad thing 😊

What I would suggest is to try a backup - reformat - restore sequence on your phone. If it continues to do it, I'd be inclined to look at any 3rd party applications you may have running in the background (I know that Psiloc's miniGPS and the GPL+ application sometimes cause wierd things like this) - try running the phone "as standard" and see if this still occurs.

If it does still happen, maybe there's some corruption on either your phone's "drive" or on your memory card. Do a reformat of the phone (but don't restore anything to it) and if possible, do a reformat of your memory card. I know this solution is a PITA, but if it cures the problem you can then start to put things back on the phone in a controlled manner, which might allow you to find which app / what action causes this to occur.

(oh, and did I say the phone's great once in that post?)

Hey, just do what I did; don't use your Sendo X at all. I am renting a old old Nokia, with a fifty dollar deposit, I have the most enjoyable phone call experiences restored!

I agree with you that Sendo should be exposed, and will be too. I wonder if there is a Sendo X sucks site, like there is a PayPalsucks.com site.... How do I report to watchdog? Lets get 'em!

Also, I have finally seen the Sendo X start to fade into history... Such great news phones are on there way soon that by the time Sendo gets it right, all their 'smart' phones will be obsolete.

People, do yourselves a favor, sell your rapid-value-decreasing-rubbish of a Sendo X before it turn into a paperweight, or a museum piece for the lilttle phone that couldn't.

Notice I do not care about trashing the Sendo X anymore because I have finally found peace in my soul without the Sendo Xl, which now resides in my drawer, never to see daylight.

SAVE YOURSELVES!!!

Oh no, its bblahblahbber again.
He really does my head in with his useless ranting and never has anything constructive to say. He/she received a 1 week ban from the moderators last week and during his absence the forum has seen some interesting posts and helpful advice being distributed which is exactly what a forum should be about.

my x also freezes at some points, but hopefully sendo will address this slight glitch. otherwise i'm pretty happy with tnis phone.
