Nokia have released PC Suite 6.5, with a multitude of improvements and fixes, including better synchronisation, better stability and an image/video auto-uploading system. 6.5 works with the 9300 and 9500, as well as many recent Series 60 models such as the 7610 and 6680. Highly recommended. You can find it here.

Sadly no notes synchronisation 😞
May be in the next release.....
Has anyone managed to send an SMS message from their computer using PC Suite... on every install I try, and it's never worked..
Oh, and give us notes synching!
Sending SMS works, but not with any Symbian based phone (not because of PC Suite, but because of missing bits and pieces for this on the phone side). In other words, you need to have a newer Nokia Series 40 phone to use that PC Suite feature. Look in this table for the NTE (Nokia Text message Editor) column: http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,8764,72030,00.html#apps
You can grab Microsoft's SMS Sender app from microsoft.com to use with any phone that supports SMS sending via AT commands (including most Nokia phones). The only requirement is Windows XP and that the phone is seen by Windows as a modem.

N/A thanks for clearing that up... I also see that some phones support notes synching... I thought that the 9500 was the all singing and dancing one... apparently not. 😞

Yes, I'd have thought it quite trivial to put in some basic syncing between PIM notes and the Desk notes in the 9500. Disappointing, but not a showstopper. In any case most of my reference notes are kept in a folder of text files, which can be copied between machines as needed and edited anywhere... I'd rather have syncing though, as you asked for!

Does anyone know if 3650 (which probably has like an old 60series symbian OS) is supposed to work with this PCsuite. I've looked, but can't find something that is related with this spesific version of PCsuite. I installed it too, but I can't get it to work.
No, the 3650 doesn't work with this new PC Suite. Here's a table that says which phones work with which PC Suite: http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,8764,72030,00.html#model
